ANC NEC latest: Party threatens disciplinary action over leaked recordings The ANC will not hesitate to take disciplinary action after recordings of members debating the party s future during NEC meetings were leaked. The latest recordings leaked to the public from a meeting of the African National Congress’ (ANC’s) National Executive Committee (NEC) over the weekend has angered the ruling party, who say that they will take action against members who continue to disseminate information of this nature.  ‘Growing tendency of leaked information concerning’  ANC National Spokesperson Pule Mabe said in a statement on Sunday 9 May that the leaked recordings of former ANC Secretary in the North West, Legoete Dakota, and current chair of the ANC in Limpopo, Stan Mathabath, that are currently doing the rounds on social media should not be dispersed beyond the virtual meeting of the party’s most senior members.
