Algonquin Boulevard will be closed to traffic in both directions from just west of Theriault Boulevard to Mattagami Boulevard South beginning this Monday.
The closure is due to road construction as part of the Connecting Link upgrade.

Traffic, including cyclists, will be detoured down Wilson Avenue with temporary traffic signals installed at the intersection of Wilson and Cameron Street.
“Large trucks must use the northern truck detour around Laforest Road as they will not be able navigate the Wilson Avenue detour,” the city stated in a release.
