arthel: a private jet now down in the blue ridge parkway region in staunton, virginia. fighter jets were scrambled when the plane flew through d.c. over the capitol this afternoon. but we re being told those fighter jets did not down the plane as there was not a security threat. let s bring in right now kyle bailey, a pilot aviation analyst, former faa safety team representative. mr. bailey, first of all, if this was pilot blunder, he would have been still in communication with air traffic control, but with no response, those fighter jets were scrambled. could jon scott s assessment be spot on, that the pilot could have been in distress? he could have been running out of fuel? something happening on board of that jet? that is correct. at this early point, i think jon scott hit it right on the head. you know, if the airplane did not run out of fuel, also there is a possibility of a possible problem with the pressurization
