Monroe County ending weekly COVID-19 vaccine clinic May 27

SPARTA, Wis. (WKBT) The Monroe County Health Department will end its weekly COVID-19 vaccine clinics May 27 due to decreased demand, it announced Thursday.
Those who are currently scheduled to receive a second dose of vaccine will have those appointments honored. You should be at either the Sparta Barney Center or Tomah’s Recreation PArk at the date and time given to you at your first vaccine appointment.
According to the health department, 33.8% of Monroe County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 28.7% are fully vaccinated. Additionally, 69.6% of county residents 65 and older are fully vaccinated.
