Kolkata, May 18 : Among the four heavyweight leaders who were sent to judicial custody in connection with Narada case following a Calcutta High Court order, former minister and MLA Madan Mitra and former mayor Sovon Chatterjee were rushed to SSKM hospital on Tuesday morning after they complained of breathlessness.
State Panchayat Minister Subrata Mukherjee was also brought to the government hospital for medical check-up.
On Monday night the leaders were sent to Presidency Jail from the CBI regional office at Nizam Palace but early Tuesday, Mitra and Chatterjee, complained of breathlessness and they were rushed to SSKM hospital where they were examined and were admitted in the Woodburn ward of the hospital. Presently both the leaders are on oxygen support.

Narada sting case: Special CBI court grants bail to TMC ministers, MLA
A special CBI court has granted bail to two TMC ministers, one party MLA and a former minister, arrested earlier in the day in connection with the Narada sting case.

A special CBI court in Kolkata on Monday granted bail to all four accused arrested earlier in the day in connection with the Narada sting case.
The CBI had arrested the ruling Trinamool Congress leaders and ministers Firhad Hakim and Subrata Mukherjee, TMC MLA Madan Mitra and former party leader and minister Sovon Chatterjee on Monday morning.

Calcutta High Court on Monday stayed the order of the special CBI Court which had granted interim bail to four top Trinamool Congress leaders - Madan Mitra, Firhad Hakim, Subrata Mukherjee, Sovan Chatterjee in Narada case. The accused will remain in CBI custody till Wednesday.
The CBI Special Court had earlier granted bail to four TMC leaders who were arrested by the CBI.
