The man, who can t be named to protect the girl, also bribed his stepdaughter into sexual acts by offering to buy items in online game Minecraft. She was aged between 10 and 13 when her stepfather, aged 43 to 47, abused her daily in their Gold Coast home between 2010 and 2013. The acts would happen while the girl s mother was in the shower or toilet. The man was found guilty in the Southport District Court in Friday after a four-day trial to eight charges including maintaining a relationship with a child, three counts of rape and four counts of indecent treatment of a child.
