NNEC Restores Power After Winter Storm Tabitha
On Saturday, Winter Storm Tabitha brought more than 24 hours of freezing rain and ice to the Northern Neck Electric Cooperative service territory. During the course of the Winter Storm, over 5,700 members across the co-op system experienced a loss of power, and as of 6:30pm Monday, all known storm outages that could safely be reconnected have been restored.
NNEC would like to thank A&N Electric Cooperative, Choptank Electric Cooperative, Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative and Asplundh Tree Experts for their assistance during its restoration efforts.
Most importantly, NNEC would like to thank its members for their support, patience, and understanding as it worked to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.
