Mrs. W.T. Johnston, chief operator for Southern Bell Telephone Co. here reported that long distance calls doubled. Approximately 1,000 long distance telephone calls were recorded at the Cleveland telephone office, Mrs. Johnston said. Five hundred calls are the maximum for a regular Sunday.
