Southborough Library offering ‘SouthBorrow Book Bundles’

SOUTHBOROUGH Starting on March 15, patrons can get personalized recommendations from the Southborough Library by filling out the new SouthBorrow Book Bundles.
Once the form is completed and submitted, Southborough Library staff will expertly select a bundle of books from the collection based on the patron’s interests. Please allow library staff up to 48 business hours to respond to any book bundle request.
Please submit a different form for each individual family member.
Patrons will receive notification when their books become available and can schedule Curbside Pickup online by logging into their account.

Rapist of Bromley, jailed for life for dragging teenager into bushes and attacking her

A man who hit a teenager over the head before dragging her into bushes and raping her has been jailed.
William Trotter, 39, of Dagonet Road, Bromley was today sentenced to life imprisonment, to serve a minimum 12 years at Croydon Crown Court.

Trotter had been found guilty of rape and kidnap with intent to commit a sexual offence following a 12-day trial.
He was jailed for eight years for the kidnap, which will run concurrently.

He denied rape and kidnap with intent to commit a sexual offence but was convicted by a jury at Croydon Crown Court and sentenced to to life, serving a minimum of 12 years before he can apply for parole.
