Plans are coming together for the Annual Tamaqua Spirit of Christmas Festival, which will begin Nov. 30 and continue through the first weekend in December.

County commissioners approved several state grants, including a Victim of Crime Act grant for the district attorney's office and a Continuing County Probation and Parole grant for the probation department.
