Good morning. Im wishing every saturday had primaries because welcome to an amazing sunday where everything seems a tad bit clearer this morning. Very simply two headlines out of shakeup saturday thanks to South Carolina kp nevada. We now have the threeway republican race so many expected and we now have a democratic frontrunner again, and her name is Hillary Clinton, again. But lets start with the republicans. Donald trump made it clear that he is now the republican frontrunner. Trump scored a big win in South Carolina winning 33 of the vote. And all 50 delegates at stake. The battle for second, a distant second frankly, was a back and forth affair all night with marco rubio edging out ted cruz by just one percentage point, 2322. Bush, kasich, carson they all finished way behind. And before the night was over jeb bush was officially out of the race. Here are trump, rubio and cruz as the night unfolded. Theres nothing easy about running for president. I can tell you. Its tough. Its nas
Had a 20, 30 minute period of rain. Then it pushed through theres the cloud line hovering over the pennsylvania turnpike, from that point north they are clear, from that point south they have high, thin cloudiness. It promises to be a fantastic start to the weekend. The cold front pushed through, this was sent in by billy in west chester. Thats the gust front thats the leading edge of the clear air as it rushed outward from the thunderstorms. We had gusts as high as 56 Miles Per Hour. Creating minor damage, power lines down, recognizer folder, 53. Turnsersville, 53. Tuckerton 40 Miles Per Hour. Now that the front has pulled through, 46 in quakertown. 48 in saint davids. Chester 45. Across south jersey, 50s. Glassboro, 52, buena, 52 degrees, as well. Its not as warm as yesterday. Yesterday we had highs topping out at 80 degrees. Very summer like, it will feel like it should with highs topping out in the mid 60s. When i come back well see how long the cooler weather lasts eva. Were back
Most important symbol of democracy in the world. Although i have come to work every day here for 25 years, it never fails to impress me. Senator mcconnell, thank you so much for your time. That was senator Mitch Mcconnell in 2010. He is the Incoming Senate majority leader for the 114th congress which convenes on january 6. We continue with a look at the historical role of the majority leader. We will hear from robert byrd, speaking in 1998 inside the Old Senate Chamber. [applause] welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the third lecture series that the leaders have been sponsoring. I think this will be one of the most interesting ones we will ever have. We have had three this year and we hope to have three more next year. When the idea was first suggested that we have some further attempt to preserve the history of the senate, that we had a unique time in history because we had such a large number of former Vice President s and former leaders of the senate that were still in the senate or a

That was senator Mitch Mcconnell speaking in 2010. Hes the Incoming Senate majority leader for the 114th congress which convenes on january 6. We continue our look at the historical role of the Senate Majority leader. Well hear from robert byrd of West Virginia. He spoke in 1998 inside the Old Senate Chamber. Weve had three lecture series this year and we hope to have three more next year. When this idea was first suggested that we have some further attempt to preserve the history of the senate, and that we had a unique time in history because we had such a large number of former Vice President s and leaders of the senate that are still in the senate or are alive that we should take advantage of this opportunity. And the first person who came to my mind as i thought about how to put this together was senator bob byrd. Becaus

Because i knew that he, probably more than any of us, knows about and cares about the institution of the senate and the history of the senate and all of its procedures and traditions. I went to senato
