Passengers can now order food in trains using new E-catering app
‘Food on Track’ was launched in major railway stations in South Central Railway including Secunderabad, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam.

Large number of passengers love eating on trains and they did so by ordering their favourite food either from the pantry or buying from the stations.
But today there are larger options with the Railways launching a new E-catering app called “Food on Track”.
While pantry food will continue to be available to the passengers, in addition those wanting to book food from their favorite hotel or restaurant outside can do so. Whether it is a Haldiram Thali or a Domino Pizza everything will be possible if things go as per plan.

According to the latest Crop Report published by the Chilean Blueberry Committee-ASOEX, the Southern Zone of Chile (IX, X and XIV Regions) is taking more prominence because its harvests are already peaking. TCAS is an Automatic Train Protection system and has been developed by the Railways along with manufacturers from within the country.
It is said to be capable of preventing train accidents caused due to âSignal Passed At Dangerâ, disobedience of train speed restrictions among others, by automatic application of brakes, should the train driver fail to do so.
Shifting strategy, Indian Railways will now go in for indigenously developed accident prevention systems instead of costlier European technology to ensure passenger safety.
