Arkansas enters a second NCAA Championship this season No. 1 in the national rankings as the Razorbacks seek a third national team title in the Texas capital city. Action for the men will be held Wednesday and Friday at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
In spite of inclement weather on Saturday at Bernie Moore Stadium, the No. 1 Razorbacks still had a productive day as they prepared for a return trip to the venue for the SEC Championships in two weeks.
A pair of meet records in the discus and shot put were bettered by Razorbacks Ralford Mullings and Rojé Stona on Friday at the John McDonnell Invitational. Mullings won the discus with a throw of 199 feet, 2 inches, while Stona set a career best of 65 feet, 10.5 inches in the shot put.
