My parents were very good at keeping us busy. In addition to School Activities and social service, i was always writing relatives. My mother encouraged that it greatly. Relatives would write back. Beautiful letters. Cousins across the country. I just got to where that was something i was encouraged. I was always a chatty child. They called me chatty patty.
