Mokokchung, Oct. 9 (EMN): A training centre for person with disability (PwD) was inaugurated at Care and Support Society Office (C&SS) in Mokokchung by the Speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Sharingain Longkumer, on October 8. Care and Support Society is a non-governmental organisation established in 1995. Currently, five programmes undertaken by C&SS included mobile ICTC, family counseling centre, targeted intervention (TI), childline 1098 and children home. The training centre for the differently-abled persons will be the sixth programme initiated by the NGO. The main objective of instituting the training centre was to help the differently-abled persons, discover their abilities and to train them with various vocational training to enable them earned their livelihood. Besides, it aims to empower them and make society an absolutely inclusive society for them.
