Yu Tok - Post Courier Vision 2050 is a national dream. From a Morobean perspective, Kundu Vision 2048 is also a dream for the province. Our PM is emphasising on taking back PNG through initiatives like promotion and funding of SMEs. Being a LLG officer, government policy implementor and, most notably, a public servant living with the problems of the people, I am very appreciative of the trends and policies of our government and would like to offer my support through the following suggestions:n That funds be increased and directed to LLGs with guidelines tied and focused to ward improvements; n That required and full staffing be deployed to LLGs to oversee and monitor implementation of these funds; andnThat sufficient logistic support with vehicle, power supply, housing and other neccessities which will ensure smooth flow of services, be centred to the LLGs which in turn will make officers access wards where real problems are.I am speaking from observation as made from the 2013 and 2014 LLGSIP funds which impacted almost all 15 ward areas in my LLG. Three wards, through community partnership and support, successfully launched a double classroom, 1 x 4-in-1 classroom and a community health post facility which will be opened soon.Let what I have shared challenge my readers that problems lie where people are and the people are living with the problems everyday of their lives. Therefore, can we consider putting in resources where the problems are. This will really address these problems and lead to achiving our dreams as envisioned. People's Servant
