Parking charges are coming to 14 Epping Forest car parks by Spring. Photo: Google Maps/Unsplash Parking fees are set to be introduced at 14 car parks across Epping Forest from Spring. Drivers will have to pay £1.50 up to one hour, £2.50 up to two, £4.00 up to four, or £6 for up to six hours, at the car parks run by the City of London Corporation (CoLC), which opened a public consultation on the plans this week. The plans, which were approved in November of last year, aim to generate enough income to offset the costs of maintaining and running the forest – currently £4.5 million a year.
