In an effort to help the community, Florida Power & Light is launching the Main Street Recovery Credit Program. This program will offer financial help to small businesses struggling because of the pandemic. It s meant to offer fee waivers, payment extensions, and direct credits to business owners.
However, there are a few boxes you need to check off before you ask for assistance. According to their press release, establishments in FPL’s service area that are eligible to apply for the program include new small businesses, small businesses that were inactive for at least six consecutive months after March 2020, and existing small businesses operating in federally designated Opportunity Zon

Ben Berman, a 27-year-old Penn Wharton grad student who is making homemade pizza dough and sauce from his apartment on 16th & Sansom, and delivering them to charitable customers through a pulley from his 2nd story window!
Berman apparently started his philanthropic pizza enterprise called
at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and has now gone viral working with icons from the 76ers and more to help promote the cause!
As of now, Berman has sold over 500 pizzas and raised over $30K for ending food insecurity and homelessness in Philadelphia!
