1:15PM Update: US50 has reopened. Earlier today there was a suspicious package left at the electronic sign at Twin Bridges and law enforcement closed the highway for an investigation. UPDATE: US-50 has now reopened. A suspicious item was investigated but no danger was found. US 50 is currently closed from Meyers to Pollock Pines (Sly Park Road) due to a "police investigation." According to Caltrans, all cars must exit.
