DOF Subsea awarded contracts in the Atlantic region

DOF Subsea has been awarded multiple contracts for execution in the
North Sea, including a number of turnkey subsea projects within its core service lines – Inspection, Maintenance & Repair (IMR), Construction and Decommissioning.
The projects combined totals more than 340 vessel days excluding options, and will be executed during 2021.
Skandi Acergy, Skandi Skansen, Skandi Iceman, Skandi Hera and a contracted third-party vessel shall be utilized in the offshore execution phases.
All awards include Project Management, engineering, procurement and logistics which shall be delivered by our integrated subsea experts’ team across Bergen and Aberdeen.

Maritime Developments (MDL) reported Wednesday that it has completed a subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines (SURF) decommissioning project in the U.K. Continental Shelf (UKCS) for Helix Robotics Solutions.
The project’s work scope called for retrieving seven cables, umbilicals, flowlines and jumpers linked to a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel in the U.K. North Sea, MDL noted in a written statement emailed to Rigzone.
“This was our first mission with Helix, and I hope that the experiences on this job are a solid base for a successful working relationship going forward,” remarked Paul Marshall, project engineer with MDL.

The vessels Skandi Acergy, Skandi Skansen, Skandi Neptune and Skandi Seven shall be utilized to deliver work totalling more than 180 vessel days excluding any options. All works shall be carried out between 4th quarter 2020 to 2nd quarter 2021.
