KUALA LUMPUR, May 27 Malaysian singer Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin and her husband, Datuk Seri Khalid Mohamad Jiwa, have been slapped with a RM10,000 fine each for not adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) during a
tahnik ceremony for her newborn baby.

Berita Harian, Selangor state police chief Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed said that Religious Minister Datuk Seri Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri and celebrity preachers, Ustaz Azhar Idrus, Ustaz Don Daniyal dan Ustaz Iqbal, were also issued a RM2,000 fine each.

The 42-year-old Pahang-born singer has openly shared about her struggles with infertility in the past.
In 2018, she finally gave birth to her first child, Siti Aafiyah, after an 11-year wait and numerous in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) procedures.
She welcomed her second child through an IVF procedure as well, and thanked the doctors and nurses led by Dr Leong Wai Yew for their efforts.
The couple also expressed their gratitude to their family, friends and fans for their prayers.
“The birth of our second child in the month of Ramadan is full of blessings and we hope it will grant us an abundance of blessings from Allah,” read the statement.

Malaysian songstress Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza recently launched her own hijab label. This is something she has always yearned for, ever since she started wearing one in 2013.
Speaking on the subject, Siti says covering up should make you feel comfortable – but most importantly, confident.
For her, the make or material of a hijab comes first. The most important thing for me is always the quality of the hijab itself, next to the design of it, she adds.
Her label is named Afiya. It captures the positivity, intelligence, elegance and modesty of her daughter, Siti Aafiyah.
