Sinfonia Viva to play virtual New Year s Eve gala concert

The usual New Yearâs Eve gala performance by Sinfonia Viva will not be taking place at Nottinghamâs Royal Concert Hall, but the orchestra has lined up an alternative.
Instead, the Grammy-nominated orchestra has taken the gala online.
Thanks to support from the governmentâs Culture Recovery Fund, a Chamber Orchestra of 13 players could pre-record an hour-long performance from the rehearsal room at Nottinghamâs Lakeside Arts.

The intimate performance will premiere online at 6pm on December 31for every household who has bought a £10 ticket and will then be available to watch for the next seven days.
