It was a scene to warm the cockles as children joined forces with neighbours to plant colourful flowers and fruit to enhance their street.
A week later and that same street was filled with police vehicles and forensic teams after a body was found at flats in Beech Close, sparking a murder investigation.
But that seems to be the reality of living in Coltman Street.
