The Director said that the Department is endeavoring to supplement the resources and capabilities of Silkworm Rearers to boost their economic profile. “Such type of trainings /exposure visits are part of the programmes” he added.
During the tour, the Sericulture Farmers will visit CSK Agriculture University Palampur and Sericulture Farm/Seed Production Centres of the State Sericulture Department of the Himachal Government to get acquainted with the latest Sericulture Technologies being adopted by their counterparts in run up to boost production.
