Sight Loss Council for London established The London Sight Loss Council meets online for the first time A Sight Loss Council for London has been created to advocate the needs of blind and partially sighted people after the appointment of 14 members. It has been facilitated as part of a national network of councils by London Vision with funding provided by the Thomas Pocklington Trust and the Vision Foundation. Cathy Low, CEO of London Vision said: ‘The formation of a London Sight Loss Council has generated a lot of interest from applicants across the capital. Sight Loss Councils promote engagement and self-advocacy, and can effect real change as demonstrated already with Sight Loss Councils’ work across the country.
