A boss is being applauded for his response to a mother who asked to switch to cut her working hours. Aaron Genest, an applications engineer manager at Siemens Software, posted on Twitter that an employee asked him to switch to 80% time. She told him that her husband was taking on some extra responsibility and they were having trouble keeping the  kids on track during remote learning.
