As the two-day G20 Summit under India s Presidency begins today in the national capital, the Delhi police said that the traffic management plan in order to maintain law and order situation in view of the global event, is in place as prescribed.
Metro services will remain unaffected, but non-destination cars will be routed to alternate routes. Auto rickshaws and taxis outside of New Delhi will be permitted, while buses will be allowed on the Ring Road and road network beyond. Facilities in New Delhi, including restaurants and malls, will be closed, but essential services will remain open.
