LG launches Online Services

SRINAGAR, July 6: In order to provide a personal experience to the devotees of Shri Amarnathji, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today launched various online services of Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board.
For millions of devotees who are unable to visit the holy cave of Shri Amarnathji this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Shrine Board has brought Darshan, Hawan and Prasad facility under the virtual mode. The devotees can book their Pooja, Hawan and Prasad online, and priests at the holy cave will offer it in the devotee’s name. Prasad will be subsequently delivered at doorsteps of the devotees.

Amarnath (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], June 29 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday offered prayers at the Amarnath cave shrine.
LG Sinha, who is also the Chairman of Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, accompanied by senior officers from the Army, Civil admin, Police and Shrine Board. Offered prayers and paid obeisance at the Holy Cave of Shri Amarnathji Shrine today. New Delhi: Registration for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra has been temporarily suspended in view of the severe COVID-19 crisis in the country.
The Shree Amarnathji Shrine Board made the announcement through its Twitter handle and said the situation was being “constantly monitored”. “In view of the development of COVID19 status, registration for the Amarnath Yatra is being temporarily suspended. The situation is being constantly monitored and will be reopened as soon as the situation improves, ”the board tweeted on Thursday (April 22).
