Utility poles coming down. In total three utility poles are down and 30 gallons of oil are spilled and you can tell that traffic is back open and part of the street is open again. It will take all night to get this place back up and running again. There is an old pole in front of the tiki palace that was rotted. It has transformers on it and a lot of weight. It snapped and took two other poles with it. This 40foot pole came crashing down taking down two others. They described three cars caught between the downed power lines and the poles. The crashing transformers sparked and Officials Say they spilled roughly 30 gallons of oil that need to be cleaned up. Considering washington street and braomtree is such a busy area they are glad no one was hurt. We got back 95 of the people in an hour. It will take us probably until the rest of the people back. Later it was confirmed he was shot in the hand. Thats good if it was true. We just watched and we kept hearing yelling and more cop cars pulling up and more gunshots. Then a Police Officer was walking up and down the sidewalk and telling everybody to get in a back room and dont let anybody in or out. And those people continue to shelter in place. Start with breaking news here first at 4 00. Police are on the scene of a shooting at a strip mall in colorado springs, colorado. And we know three Police Officers have been injured. We go now live to the newsroom with the details. This is still a very active situation out there in colorado springs. Just moments ago police said they do not know exactly where the shooter is. You guys mentioned three officers were hurt, but at this point police are not elaborating on the extent of their injuries. An unknown number of people were hurt. It happened near a planned parenthood near colorado springs, and it is not clear if that organization was specifically targeted by the gunman. Police are asking people in that immediate area to stay away. They are also asking people in nearby businesses and homes to shelter in place. Police are still trying to track down the gunmen.
