Hope for shoppers as food inflation eases for second month

Food prices increased by 14.6% in June, down from 15.4% the previous month, while shop price inflation fell from 9% to 8.4%. However, retailers warn that Government policies and the introduction of border controls in October could increase the pressure on prices.
