Shively PD: Woman fatally shot in her home Share Updated: 7:49 PM EST Jan 1, 2021 WLKY Digital Team Share Updated: 7:49 PM EST Jan 1, 2021 WLKY Digital Team A woman was killed in the Shively neighborhood Friday morning.According to Detective Patrick Allen of the Shively Police Department, officers were dispatched to 3403 Dixie Highway around 5:30 a.m. on a report of a shooting.Once officers arrived on scene, they found a woman believed to be in her 40s suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. She lived in the home she was shot in.The woman s name has not been released. The Shively Police Department are investigating the case.Anyone with information is asked to call the Shively police tip line at (502) 930-2SPD.
