The Kaohsiung City Government yesterday said that the Kaohsiung Popcorn Chicken Festival is to take place at the plaza in front of Mega Far Eastern Department Store in the city’s Lingya District on Aug. 27 and 28. With more than 100 booths for popcorn chicken shops from across Taiwan, the city government expects the event to attract more tourists to Kaohsiung before the summer break ends.
