Hundreds of refurbished bikes are being given away to children in San Luis Obispo County this holiday season.
While the pandemic has caused many events to be canceled, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriffâs Office didnât let it get in the way of their 31
st annual Christmas Bicycle Giveaway.
The giveaway was conducted differently, however.
There were no large crowds or long lines as the bikes were handed out by appointment-only this year and masks were required.
In all, about 270 bikes will have been handed out.
