Sheridan Woman Arraigned on Drug Charges in District Court – Sheridan Media

Schaffer Arraignment On November 18 of last year 26-year-old Savannah Schaffer of Sheridan arrived late to the Sheridan Police Department for her scheduled breath test as part of the 24/7 Sobriety Program. According to court documents, Schaffer had left her vehicle running in the parking lot of the Police Department when she went inside for the scheduled breath test, and when an officer with the PD entered the vehicle to retrieve the keys after Schaffer had been arrested for showing up late for the test, the officer noticed a strong smell of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded methamphetamine, marijuana and various drug paraphernalia. She was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance- Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance- Marijuana, and Driving Under Suspension. Arraignment Held for Man Charged With Two Felony Drug Charges – Sheridan Media

An arraignment hearing for 20-year-old Dante Allison was held Thursday in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan. Allison, on November 30, was charged with two felonies, Delivery of a Controlled Substance- Marijuana, and Taking a Controlled Substance into Jail. Allison pleaded “not guilty” to both of the charges at the arraignment. District Court Judge John Fenn set the three day jury trial for May 24 and scheduled a pretrial conference for April 15 at 9:30 am. Judge Fenn also modified Allison’s bond to a high level of drug and alcohol testing at the Sheridan County Justice Office. If convicted on both counts, Allison faces up to 13 years in prison and fines of up to $13,000.

Bond Revocation Hearing Held for Sheridan Man Charged With Drug Distribution – Sheridan Media

Bond Revoked After hearing arguments from the defense and prosecution, District Court Judge John Fenn ruled that the State had established clear and sufficient evidence that the defendant, Donald Brower, had violated the terms of his bond by not showing up for a drug test at the Sheridan County Justice Office on November 13. Judge Fenn revoked Brower’s bond and reset the bond at $15,000 cash or surety. On November 11 at an arraignment hearing, Brower pleaded “not guilty” to the charges of Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance to a Minor- Marijuana, and Possession With Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance to a Juvenile- Marijuana. The alleged crimes occurred between October 3rd and 4th of this year and involved Brower and two other co-defendants selling Marijuana to a 16-year-old individual. A jury trial in District Court remains scheduled for March 15. If convicted on both counts, Brower faces up to 20 years in prison and fines of up to $20,000.
