We start the morning at the live desk. Were getting new information about a man who shot nine people in a Movie Theater and then shot himself. Police say he was staying at a hotel near the Movie Theater and when police got in there they found wigs glasses and another license plate for his car. Police say he was planning an escape. They say he opened fire about 20 minutes into the movie train wreck, and then he left and tried to leave with the crowd. When he saw the police he went back in and shot himself. Police dont know why he picked this city and these people. We talked to some of the family members last night who dont have very much contact with him or havent seen him. So he just seemed like he was kind of drifting along. Now, houser killed two young women two survivors got out of the hospital this morning but the others are still recovering and one of them is in critical condition. Thanks, chris. Unresponsive in the bathtub of her atlanta home. It is unclear how that incident happened. In fredericksburg today, a murder case is going in front of a grand jury. Fredericksburg police say that vander briel killed grace mann back in april. Police say vander briel and mann were roommates. Multiple other roommates that he confessed to the killing. A grand jury in Fairfax County will hear from prosecutors about a Controversial Police shooting. County Police Officer adam torres shot and killed john geer two years ago. Torres claimed that geer appeared to be reaching for a victim. The county paid the family nearly 3 million to settle the civil lawsuit this year. Investigators are working to find the murder weapon in a deadly stabbing. The county Sheriffs Office says a man stabbed a husband and wife at the Anna Prayer Counseling Center last night. The husband died. His wife is in serious condition at the hospital right now. According to sheriffs deputies it happened during prayer services.

Vandalism to the confederate memorial statue. Spray painted black lives matter and on the bottom red spray painting that iappears to say black lives matter. It apparently happened overnight. An uber driver came to take a look at the statue. He called the police. They called rockville city police. This is a rockville district. The Montgomery County official said he will have it removed. They had a crane operator in last week measuring it for removal from this area but this vandalism
He makes a really good point, which is that its hard you got to have skin in the game, you know. You really do. I am always curious to ask people, and we have a poll coming out soon that does ask this question of parents, if money were not an issue, would you send your child to your Neighborhood Public School . If you had a choice and you could send them, you could take them out and send them to a private school, or any school of your choice, would you do it . And it was astonishing to me how many people would. And the fact is they cant, and thats what is frustrating. You know, he is right, politicians and people in power do have a choice, and if you are at a disadvantage and you dont have the money to choose a private school or you dont have Educational Options where you live, you dont, and thats not fair, that goes right to the heart of the inequality piece.
