The patient admitted to this hospital has tested positive for ebola virus, the cause of ebola virus disease. The patient, an adult man is currently being treated in isolation in dallas. He left liberia 11 days ago and arrived in the United States on the 20th of september to visit family. About four or five days later, he developed symptoms, he saugt care, was placed in isolation and, today, the test came back positive for ebola. In confirming the diagnosis, the centers for Disease Control and prevention made it clear. Ebola is not an airborne disease and it can only be transmitted when the patient is showing symptoms.
