we begin with breaking news in baltimore county. a water main is effecting dozens of homes. we re live above the seen. good afternoon, don and everyone. we re in back river near lynhurst. around 9:45, a large volume water main broke causing the wear to spout about 20 feet into the air. a nearby resident called and told me it went on for an hour and a half. they were able to shut off the water main and apparently, there was minor damaged sustained to a nearby home. the neighbors sandbagged and assisted the other neighbors to keep it from becoming too serious. it s not clear how long it will take to get it repaired. about 50 houses or so and perhaps a dozen businesses are effected by the water main break. the water department is on the scene. and thank you very much. over middle river. bail is denied for the 25- year-old accused of killing a police detective over the weekend over a parking space. derek valcourt is live outside of central booking. good afternoon, derek.
