Fisher suffered a heart attack on a flight from london to los angeles last week. Her daughter, billy lord, issued a statement through her publicist saying this it is with a very deep sadness that billy lord confirms that her beloved mother, Carrie Fisher, passed away at 8 55 this morning. Fishers star wars costar Harrison Ford issued the statement you see here. Carrie was one of a kind. Brilliant, original, funny and emotionally fearless. She lived her life bravely.
