Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Sharad Pawar alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi doesn t talk about the basic issues that people face and diverts their attention.
Pawar, in his speech, said that if the attack on the Constitution of the country is to be countered and people have to be rescued, then it is important to stay united by keeping aside all the problems and defeat the BJP.
The Rajya Sabha MP added that during UPA, India, which was earlier an importer of foodgrains, became an exporter. “We extended the farm loan waiver of Rs 62,000 crore to control the increasing number of farmer suicides,” he said.
“All of us are part of INDIA. We are in it, which means you also are a part of it. We all are together in this. We will snatch the power from those who are misusing it and hand it over to the common people,” said Pawar.
Speaking during an interaction at the India Today Conclave here, Pawar said the arrest of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh by the Enforcement Directorate in a case related to alleged irregularities in the Delhi excise policy will further strengthen the Opposition's INDIA bloc.
