GRAND RAPIDS, MI A mom described the scene of cars lined up for COVID-19 testing as a sign of being proactive.
An official with the Kent Intermediate School District, which hosted the event, told MLive the reaction was a feeling of gratitude.
Those were among the descriptions used over the weekend as parents, children and community members flocked to a series of COVID-19 testing clinics to target those returning from spring break. The clinics spanned April 9-11 over five sessions at four locations with the goal of battling a potential post-break surge.
