PORTAGE COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - Three are killed and five are seriously hurt in a single-vehicle crash in Shalersville Township, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
Ravenna troopers responded to the scene where they saw a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado off to the East side of Peck Road. They responded to the scene around 3:30 Sunday afternoon.
Authorities said eight people were inside the vehicle. The vehicle had reportedly hit a tree and was severely damaged.

PORTAGE COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - A 41-year-old Ravenna mom was driving while impaired when she lost control of her car and crashed into a tree Sunday afternoon, killing three passengers, Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers said.
The crash killed two of Julianne Sheadâs children, an unrelated passenger and also injured five other passengers, said troopers.
Sheadâs daughters, Marlana Mullin, 22, of Streetsboro and Christine Shead, 12, of Ravenna were pronounced dead at the scene.
