The Saltzman family, which owns 12 Dave's stores, has acquired the Zagara's at 1940 Lee Road from owner John Zagara. Zagara's will close on Oct. 21 and reopen as Dave's Market and Eatery on Oct. 29. Dave's Market at Cedar-Fairmount will close on Oct. 25.
The nearly 99,000-square-foot building is only 37% occupied. It's a potential candidate for redevelopment, on a 5.65-acre site on the outskirts of Severance Town Center.
