The past Moderator of the General Assembly of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church Ghana, the Right Reverend Seth Senyo Agidi, has been laid to rest at Ho.
The Rt. Rev. Dr Agidi died on October 10, 2020, after a short illness at the Ho Teaching Hospital. He was 65 years old.
He was buried at the Ho-Kpodzi Missionary cemetery at the E.P. Church Headquarters.
Dr Agidi was the second Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church after a change from the Synod status.
He trained as a teacher and attended the Trinity Theological Seminary, Legon.
He pursued postgraduate studies at the Eden Theological Seminary, United States of America.

Scores of Ghanaians paid their last respects last Saturday to the immediate past Moderator of the General Assembly of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana, Rt Rev. Dr Seth Senyo Agidi, whose leadership is said to have left an indelible print on the history of the church.
The late Rev. Dr. Agidi was mourned by distinguished personalities, among them the clergy, politicians, journalists and others during a burial service held at the Dela Cathedral of the EP Church in Ho.
The former Moderator died on October 10, last year at the age of 65.

The Evangelical Presbyterian (EP) Church of Ghana has inducted Rev. Lt Col Bliss Divine Kofi Agbeko (retd) into office as the new Moderator of its General Assembly.
He was elected at the ninth General Assembly of the church and inducted into office at a ceremony at the EP Church in Ho last Sunday.

Reverend Lt Col (Rtd) Bliss Divine Kofi Agbeko has been inducted as the Moderator of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana.
He was from 2016 to 2018, the Deputy Director for Religious Affairs of the Ghana Armed Forces, and until his induction, was the Accra Newtown Branch of the Church’s District Pastor.
Rev. Dr Agbeko, 57, was elected by the Ninth General Assembly of the Church to serve a six-year term, and has become the 14th Moderator.
The induction ceremony was in the presence of the Regional Minister, some heads of the armed forces, and traditional leaders.
