India News: A 25-year-old man has been sentenced to death for the rape and murder of a 3-year-old girl in Gurugram. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on the accused and awarded Rs 10 lakh compensation to the victim's family.
The Court noted that Chaurasia held a very senior position in a national news channel, and that he was willing to deposit ₹2 lakh for his non-appearance before the trial court.
