Sunshine Coast CIB officer-in-charge Detective Senior Sergeant Daren Edwards said the man was caught in Emu Park, near Rockhampton on Friday night. Adcock was found in a Toyota Camry on the corner of Roden and Schofield streets in Keppel Sands where he was approached by officers. Police will allege he reversed into a police vehicle and took off on foot. He was tracked by the dog squad and found hiding behind a shed. He was tasered and then pulled out a knife to fight off a police dog, Sergeant Edwards said. The dog did not sustain any injuries. Adcock, however, required treatment for dog bites at a Rockhampton hospital.
