Manufacturing company Omnia, which is expanding its organic fertiliser product to more countries, said it has enough fertiliser to assist farmers that may be running out after it spent R1bn to buy stock in advance.
Fertiliser and explosives producer Omnia says crumbling infrastructure, delays at ports and other supply chain hassles have cost it "tens of millions of rand" in an otherwise good year.
