at the time of the blast, the question came by the person who discovered the bomb, richard jewell. richard was a security person at the olympics. he discovered the bomb, he brought it to someone s taepg attention, and it detonated a short time later. you, of course, look to the person who found the bomb. when i heard from my friends at the profiling unit that they thought they had their guy and it was this security guy, richard jewell, i thought, oh, no. this is going to get them in terrible trouble because we didn t have enough information at the time. a lot of people say a lot of things during investigations. you hope that they don t all get into the media. as authorities continue their investigation, richard jewell is no longer a viable lead. the issue, the timing of the
