his information. there s not the votes for it. what we dough know is in seven of the last ten negotiations on the debt limit, there s been budget dairy reforms. so 70% of the time, the debt limit gets lifted. there s been a discussion, conversation around and a negotiation about budgetary and policy reforms. that s what needs to happen this time. that s supported by the american people. 65% of the american people believe that you shouldn t raise the debt limit without doing something about the debt. that s what the american people are. cleary that s where we are. i hope that in the next few days hopefully by the time when this meeting happens on may 9 we can see serious and real progress or else the administration will be the first administration ever to have to deal with a default on the debt. a clean debt limit is not going to happen. i think they need to understand that. get serious about sitting down at the table. if the x day is june 1, that brings an additional sense of
patterson is a suspect. the man hunt underway right now. let s begin on the ground in atlanta with charles watson. hi, charles. good afternoon, gillian. at this point in this investigation, police are having folks here in the midtown area shelter in place. you can see here behind me there s heavy police presence out here. police are starting to condense this crime scene some and move it back closer to the building where the shooting is presumed to have happened. you mentioned just a few moments ago, police released the identity of a suspect, the man that police believe is behind the shooting that happened here in midtown this morning. he s identified as deon patterson. he is a 24-year-old man and police are asking folks to be on the lookout for patterson. urging the public not to approach him and call 911 instead because he is considered armed and dangerous. now, we just got an update from police a few moments ago. they said they were aware of a carjacking in the vicinity o
