The man suspect of shooting and killed a 32-year-old Seattle father and business owner is also suspected of several other violent incidents days before the deadly attack.
A King County Jail courtroom erupted with emotion as the suspect in the death of a beloved Seattle business owner had his first appearance. The suspect, Ashton Lefall, is accused of killing D’Vonne Pickett Jr. in the Central District on Wednesday.

SEATTLE Sunday’s violence in Seattle comes days after Mayor Jenny Durkan laid out a plan to address gun violence, and adds frustration for those who have been fighting to help those caught in the cycle.
As Seattle police continued working their investigations into multiple shootings that left three dead and five injured, volunteers in Seattle s Central District Community continued their work as well, building relationships in the community to try and keep peace on the streets.
