New signing Sean St Ledger was substituted with what looked to be a minor niggle just before half-time as Town s U21 side held on to draw 1-1 with Millwall at the Den on Friday night. Academy striker Shane McLoughlin scored in the first half before Alfie Pavey equalised for the hosts with 15 minutes remaining.
Boss Mick McCarthy believes the Blues current position firmly in the promotion push makes them a more attractive proposition to potential new signings, such as Noel Hunt and Sean St Ledger, who joined the club yesterday. Hunt, 31, has signed on loan from Leeds until January 3rd, while free agent St Ledger, 29, penned a one-month deal.
